CORONATION DOUBLE CENTURY

Op Saterdag 27 November het 12 manne en dames van Somerset Oos Fietsry Klub in Swellendam aan die Coronation Double Century, of die Coronation DC soos dit ook bekend staan deelgeneem.

Die span was deur Castle Lite geborg.

Die ryers was: George & Marti Groves, Kevin & Kerrie McCaughy, Stevie en Michelle van Niekerk, Riaan van der Walt, Francois Botha, Francois Labuschagne, Pieta Booyens, Christie Botha en David Louw. Die ondersteuning span was Gerrie Scheepers en Rianie van der Walt.

Met name soos Tradouw Pas, Op de Tradouw en Wildehondskloof Pas kan mens verstaan dat dit nie `n roete is wat ligtelik aangepak word nie.

Die span het die 202 Km in 9uur 30 minute afgelê en die ondersteunungspan kan maar aan "Fear Factor" gaan deelneem!

Bruintjies 2011

The 2011 Bruintjies Cycle Race will take place on the weekend of 26 - 27 March 2011!
Die 2011 Bruintjies Fiets Wedren sal plaasvind gedurende die naweek van 26 - 27 Maart 2011!

Biltong Festival MTB Ride!

The MTB ride on Saturday was PERFECT! The weather was nice, the venue super and the water points (or should I say refreshment points?) were amazing!

Well, you can not find fault if you are offered coffee with beskuit (home baked nogal), biltong, tequila, melktert and marshals to help you up a hill, and that all in one MTB event!

The 19 riders truly enjoyed themselves before going to the Biltong Festival for further entertainment.

The slogan should have been: Ons ry so lekker want ons eet so lekker!

We want to thank all the riders that took part as well as all the helpers (also the helpers behind the scene) and marshals. Without you this event would not have been possable.
